How to treat greasy skin
Dirt gets stuck on oily/greasy skin very easily. It is important that you remove dirt often so your skin can breathe and regulate sebum production. Sebum is the fluid that makes the skin look greasy.
It seems logical that you should not use a moisturizer since the skin is already greasy but that’s not the case. If you use a moisturizer your sebum production will decrease and you are less likely to get pimples. You should also remember to remove the dead skin cells as they causes pimples and blackheads.
Greasy/oily-skin is caused by overproduction of sebum, stress and hormonal changes.
How to clean greasy skin
To stop the overproduction of sebum, the skin needs moisture. Therefore it is important to remember to add moisture after cleaning the skin.
You should exfoliate more often than normal or dry skin. 2 times a week is good.
Both moisture masks and deep tendon masks are important for this type of skin.
